OK here's a stupid question? What's the differance between Equal and Unequal Length Headers?

 

theres no stupid questions, just stupid people j/k anyways. equal legnth means all four pipes leading from the heads are the same length. unequal means the pipe closest to the front of the engine is the longest, the one in the back is the shortest.

equal length is the only way to go

Try to take a tape measure to a set of headers like you are going to buy before you buy them if you can. In my experience there are VERY few equal length headers that are truly the same lenght.
I've even measured expensive Hooker headers that were 2"-4" differant from tube to tube.
It must make some differance but who knows how much. Just remember that you get what you pay for...

Hawaii or wherever you are.... Summit and others use FEDEX or UPS so get something that you are not going to regret. I have taken months to think that I am almost at the point where i know what exhaust I want. I hear some mean Mustang in a parking lot or on the street and I ask them what they are using.
