Hey all, I have a 99 Cobra, I have had a squeak in the driver rear side brake for about 2 yrs now. I thought and successfully traced it to the anti rattle clip on the pad. After replacing the clips, the sound disappeard for awhile, 2 weeks, and now is back. It almost sounds like something is being squeezed as it stops now. Its really annoying, im ready to replace the caliper. Has anyone heard of or had this problem before? I definately dont want to take it in to the dearler.
use some caliper grease on the clips and some anti-sqeel compound between the caliper piston and the pad - then you should eliminate 99% of all brake squeel
