After reinstalling my 5.0, I'm having trouble timing the ignition timing. When running with the light, what degree should I see on the balancer marker? Right now its running at 30BTC at idle and it has a very slight studder. I'm not sure which way to adjust it. I have the distributor at optimal running at this degree.

 

To start you unplug the SPOUT connector directly above the electrical connector to the ignition module.The timing is supposed to be 10* BTDC at idle.You can safely advance it to about +14* at idle and still run 87 octane.30* at idle is WAAAY to much.It will idle faster but when you try to drive it it will rattle like a can full of rocks.
