Man that looks sweeeeet! [8D]

How well do those tiles handle an oil drip? Or welders sparks? Does a floor creeper glide across it ok?

The tiles are not affected by most chemicals so oil drips are fine. If you have leaky vehicles, I would just stay away from the white tiles or you will be cleaning them all the time!

Welder sparks must be avoided, they are plastic after all.

Creepers and other wheels products roll just fine across the tiles. It is recommended you use a softer/wider wheel than a hard shiny sharp wheel as those could damage the tiles.

The least you could have done is use somebody's shots that had Fords.

I am always under my cars.
What will a floor jack do to the plastic?

A decent-sized floor jack doesn't do much, if anything, to plastic tiles (mine are RaceDeck, BTW), but jackstands that have the standard "angle iron" style feet will actually cut through it when loaded. To deal with that, I've got four 12x12 pieces of 1/8" aluminum plate that I put under my older jackstands, plus I bought two (so far) SnapOn Blue Point jackstands that are an aluminum tube with an 8" round base. They work great. What it boils down to is that plastic tiles will support most any load as long as it's spread over a reasonable area. I've had no trouble with cars, tool boxes, work benches or larger floor jacks marring my floor. The old style jackstands and my old, cheap floor jack with tiny wheels are all no-go on these floors. Since I did this floor a couple of years ago, I replaced my cheapie jack with a Craftsman aluminum jack that has a full-width roller on the front and have had no problems since.

They definately are not for everyone. I can tell you that it draws attention like you wouldn't believe when you have the garage door open and neighbors sneak a looK!
