whats the going rate on a diag? and will they be able to figure out the problem if the light isnt on all the time i think its a vacuum leak or something..also i need them to set the tps to the right spot becuase i dont theink my idle is where it should be exacltly

unless the TPS is way off, it won't affect your idle that much. setting it to .98 volts just makes the ECU system respond quicker when the throttle is moved. have you tried cleaning the IAC and throttle body with some carb cleaner? not sure but think diagnostic test should run less than $100 if all they do is read out the codes and list the problems.

yeah one of the first things i tried was to clean the throttle body. the idle isnt terrible i just think it might be off a enough to make it slightly not right

they run from 45-85 bucks..you can buy a coder from sunpro.com for under 40.00 to do it yourself
