Default Think about a short throw shifter

I've been looking into short throw shifters, and have read good things about the Steeda's...any others you might recommend? Some install easier and feel better than others? I'm curious as to what you guys have to say...

I thinking about getting either the Steeda or Pro 50, I've been hearing more praise about the Steeda so I'll most likely go in that direction.

Well it seemed to shift a lot easier and of course its a lot shorter than the stocker. It slides into third so much easier when power shifting also. I used to miss third all the time with the stocker.

I just installed my tri-ax last night, and let me tell you.... some people say it only took 20 minutes, but to get the freakin shifter off the transmission was a biatch, because the silicon gasket fuses the two together. Also, it takes me an average of 2 hours longer to do anything myself than it takes someone who knows what they're doing. Other than that, the steeda's tri-ax seems to be pretty good. I love the short throw.

I had the Steeda in my GT. I liked it, but it was a little noisy. I may try the Pro 5.0 in this car though.

I've also heard that MGW, the company that makes the shifter ***** are coming out with a shifter.

With either one I choose, I will be getting one of the gaskets that I had read about. Then no need to worry with RTV, and it does cut out some of the noise.
