Default 351W overbore question

I have a brand new mid 90s 351w roller block, never been machined.
Have an opportunity to get a new set of +.060 pistons & rings at a pretty good price.
This is gonna be in a street cruiser / weekend driver. Is it pushing it too far to bore this (will be fully balanced and professionally assembled) block to .060 ???

use to be Ford said .030 over was max.But I have seen them 60 over but I my self would not do it unless I had my machine shop sonic test the thickness of the cly. walls. Sure would hate to put all that $$ in pistons and block work just to have a cly. wall split cuz. it was to thin 6 months down the road.

you could, or you could save that space for later on. if u do it 60 over now, you will never be able to bore it out more. so if u throw a rod er somethin and scratch the wall, the block is done

I just read somewhere, might have been HOT ROD, that you don't want the cylinder walls to be less than .100 thickness after a bore, so get the walls sonic checked like they already said before you do anything else.
