Default Air Vents

I don't know where else to post, I recently purchased a 1999 Mustang Limited Edition, the a/c / heater vent is missing above the glove box. Is there any way for me to replace it? Where do I find a part like that????? Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Michelle, Try Ebay, or junk yard, that's what I would do first

A junk yard will be the place.
It gives you the part.
And it gives you the opportunity to
break things to find out how to get
it out.

A wrecking yard is your best bet. Find one where they allow you to waunder around the yard yourself (some don't) & you can scrounge around for a bunch of other bits & pieces including the air vent thingy. I'd imagine Ebay would only have listings for complete dashboard assembiles & they probably wouldn't want to sell just 1 little piece of it.

I guess the obvious reply of A Ford Dealer has escaped you all? They just snap in. Probably about forty bucks.

Sure the dealer *might* be able to get you a dash part for a 7 year old car. Yep probably around $40 after waiting a week or 2 for it to come in. Or,, go to the wreakers & get it right away. Probably either $5 or FREE depending on their mood

you have to open the glove box, there are 2 8mm bolts under there, after that just pop it out, its held in with a torque clip

Thank you so much for all of your help, it gives me many places to start looking. Looks like I need two now, the one in the middle cracked!
