Is it better to get a full kit or I found one with only meter forward, it also has a 85mm MAF on it.

my understanding is that the meter-forward kit with MAF is a 6 rwhp difference versus the full length kit.

edit - full length is better it inclues the TB pipe which in dyno tests adds 6 rwhp for the setup.

I bought the k&n fipk for my 04 GT and I gotta say that for 140 bucks you cant beat it. it makes a really cool sound when you rev the eng and they sent me a dyno slip that showed a 9.8 rwhp gain on a stock 02 Gt. dont underestimate k&n.

That's why the densecharges comes w/ a K&N filter.

I just put it on today, but didn't get a chance to drive it...And the ProM 85mm MAM also. I took us like 45 mins to get that damn filter on there. We ended up pushing the pipe down through the fender well and pushing up on the filter...lol

Hopefully it'll do some good even though I'm selling the car I needed a new MAM anyways...

I have a K&N, will they knock off the price of the charger because I don't need the filter? :-)

ORIGINAL: UT04GT

All I can say is holy sh*t there is a difference in torque at low rpms. That is the most noticeable difference. Looking at their dyno page I totally believe the ~30 rwtq difference in the low rpm band. I managed to almost wreck shifting into second gear while testing out the new setup [] There is a definite increase in hp throughout the entire range of rpms also.

I can't wait to take the lil' stang to the track and see what she runs. I'm hoping for 13.8 or so. Thus far I'm totally impressed with the full length densecharger system with MAF (Except the filter was a pain in the *** to get inside the weather guard)

Wow, they really say it will add 30rwtq? How much rwhp does this intake add? Right now I have the bbk cai, but it looks like this densechagrer kit is way better. How much did that set you back?

$320 new w/ the full legnth kit and the ProM 85mm MAF unit. Going from stock to the densecharger might be a big step up, but from my e-bay CAI to this I didn't notice anything at all...
