i have a 68 mustang im gonna run a inline electric fuel pump should i put the filter before or after the pump

If you put it after the pump it has to be
a high pressure filter like that on the
mustang tank mount.

ANYWHERE.

If you are a carb system the pressure of the pump
is LOW. so you can go ahead and put it anywhere
that makes it easy to change in the future.
either side of the pump.

im slowy building up a 68 coupe im gonna use a 427 sbf with a efi hilborn on it

Then I would put the filter between
the gas tank and the pump.

Your electric fuel pump will require a filter before it to protect the pump. I run filters before and after for added protection (in case the pump shells out).
