94-98 Front Bumper Removal
I have driven myself crazy trying to remove the front bumper off of my '98 Mustang. Could someone please give me detailed instructions and hopefully some pictures or links for clarity? I'm trying to remove the headlights and they won't come out, and yes I know about the ridiculous squeezing of the pins that doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
WD 40 the area around the clip and try to remove it after saturation. If that doesnt work unsrew it all the way out. Then after installation you will have to readjust the headlights. Using a brick wall or a tin building works well get the headlights adjusted correctly. There are two nuts on the inside of the fender wells on both sides that are the main connection for the bumper.
Here are some pics, hope they help.

I'm not worried about the headliner panel, that's being replaced as soon as I can get the bumper off. The sides of the front bumper are completely loose but something in the front is still holding it on there like super glue, I can't figure it out! I'm having lots of problems trying to get those headlights out too, I know I'm supposed to "squeeze this" and "pop" it right out but the fact is that it's not nearly that simple or I wouldn't be here. Any other info you all could give me? I'll try the WD 40 thing later. You guys are great, thanks!
After not thinking about it and then coming back to the task, I got it all removed. It was pretty much permanently connected to the header panel which would explain alot. Thanks for all the help guys!
