Default Sucking gas like crazy

Okay, I changed engines. Same engine went in that came out, as far as size. No great modifications. For some reason, it is drinking gas like it is going out of style. Any clues?

Can't possibly tell you without knowing what kind of car, engine, and transmission combination.
It could be anything from a dirty air filter to dragging brakes.

Do the following. Change the Air filter/plugs/MAF and you should see an improvement in MPG.

How is it possible to describe a solution to a problem if you guys do not know all of the facts? what year? engine? what mods does she have? does she see any leaks? we all can speculate but c'mon! ask more questions before telling someone what do you think is wrong with their car.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't see anything wrong with throwing out some basic general ideas... Doesn't matter what you have, if the air filter is plugged, it's plugged... If you got a leak, it doesn't matter if it's stroked 347 or bone stock 4.8, you still got a leak...

Sorry guys, I wasnt thinking.

4.6 out of a 2000 GT into a 2000 GT. Automatic transmission. It seems to be doing better now for some reason. I am going to keep an eye on it. Thanks for the info and I will keep that in mind should it start up again.
