Default Injectors

Would it be a nightmare to tune 42lb/hr injectors for a daily driver?

No, I have 42# injectors. What you plan on running 42's on?

It's a bad idea

MD, Im wanting to run a 200+shot of N20 on a 347 stroker. Im gonna order everything, get it in and just do one major mod overhaul on this thing. Just in the mist of a planning process here. Makin sure Im about to order the right stuff, I want as few hic-ups as possible when I start the buildup. Someone buy my Jeep so I can sink 10 grand in this car, damn it!

Im just doing the same thing with this car, that I did with my Jeep. I bought my Jeep, planned out all the mods I needed, ordered everything, got it in at the same time, and a week later my Jeep was up and running with over 4k in new parts on it. It was very fun. Was like I bought 2 cars at the same time, lol.

No FMU I have a returnless fuel system. And 36#'ers would have been better right now - but I will eventually upgrade and need more fuel. 42's are alot better than they used to be for the slower pulse widths - since Ford made them for the Lightning truck with drivability in mind. As long as your over 50% duty cycle drivability will be good - as per Tim Barth @ Modular Powerhouse who tuned my car.

Car drives better than it did after the 42's and the s/c & tune then it did with the stock 19's when I was n/a. Good throttle response, no drivability problems. A slight surge at part throttle, low rpm range - I can feel it if I hold the gas steady and hold the rpm's low. Nothing to write home about though.

yeah I was think 30-36 would be right for your set up..I use 42's with mine I just put a kurban reg and my fuel pressure went to hell.so I'm going back to my lil ole accel reg with no vacuum.... the ole lighten has a few more cube though..what maf you using..I really like the maf off the lightening as it's hard to peg
