i have a problem with my 2000 mustang gt it is skipping after when i was racing and missed4th gear and went to 2nd and engine raceed.my car shut off by itself but when i started it, it was skipping badthere's no rod knock no blown head gasket, bought new spark plugs and still skip. motor has spark in all cylinder but don't know if myC.O.P are missfiring.NEED HELP

 

Perhaps your is your computer is trying to reset itself....i don't kow the procedure for manually gettng the computer to reset for your year though...

 

Sometimes you can reset the computer by disconneting the battery and letting it sit for a couple of hours.

 

Works for most computerized cars. Removing both cables and shorting the cables together after a few hours is pretty much a guarantee.
