Default Keyless entry remote programming?

Hey guys. My girlfriend has a '95 Mustang w/ only one remote for the alarm/keyless entry. Its a real PITA when I need to get it from her work or something.

I wanna buy another one on eBay or something. Can just any Ford remote be programmed for it? If so, how? That would be awesome if I can just buy one and do it myself. I dont even want to know what the stealership would charge for it...

Thanks!

They probably charge $500 for one INSTALLED. He just needs another remote. It needs to be the same # of keys/buttons as the orig. remote I believe.

Grab a ford 4-buttoner and they'll charge you like $50 to program it to your car.

I bid on one on ebay...looks EXACTLY like the one we have. It even says '93-'97 mustang in the title.

I heard something about turning the ignition off and on 8 times in 10 seconds then pushing a button and that programs it

It shouldn't be $500 to get another key, that's probably to get the keypad thing installed.

You could try the EBay thing, but I've never heard of anyone doing it.

Your owner's manual should tell you how to program it.
