Default ignition timing and chips and tuners

I just recently got a zex nitros kit and i've not been able to figure the best way to deal with the timing issue. I have 75 100 and 125 shots, and for testing, I want to start low and work my way up. I probably will stick with 125 after all testing is done though. I have looked at chips and tuners and wonder what is best. The diablo delta chip has an off position, stage one and stage two settings, but the dealer told me one setting is for nitros and one for performance without nitros (custom tuned for my car). But I don,t see why I can't just have 2 nitros tunes on it. Will it hurt to run nitros with too much timing retardation?

One tune ADVANCES your timing to a NA tune, the other RETARDS your timing for a nitrous tune. That is the best way to go. You don't run around spraying all day long, so why should your performance suffer.

I would go with something that data logs so "YOU" can make the changes as problems arise..fac it those mail order chip as for the masses and leave alot of power still on the table

I am looking for a tuner that is relatively easy to operate, thet doesn't take too long. I want to be able to switch from a performance tune to a nitros tune pretty quick. The best I've found so far is the Diablo predator or the delta chip( both with a lot of pros and cons).Any sugestions?

You could go chip-less and put the tuning at your fingertips with a MAF tuner and timing adjuster.
