I have recently looked up the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile times of the 99 cobra and it has it at 5.4 for 0-60 and 13.9 in the 1/4 mile. I also seen the 01 cobra and it was 4.8 0-60 and 13.5 for the 1/4. I then looked up the hp ratings for both cars and they have the same amount of HP, the same motor and about everything. Why would a 01 then be so much faster than a 99. Was the 99 not recalled or what?

 

I own a 99 cobra the problem is that the 99 only makes 305hp from the 320 that its supposed to that was a problem so they were recalled but dont know if mine was...well anyway so in 2001 they brought back the cobra with watever the problem was and that one actually produces the 320 thats why it performs a bit better
