Default buying spacers

anyone have eibach pro spacers or h&r spacers installed on their mustang? do you have pics? I'm looking to get them on my rear wheels only, but i don't know what size to get. 25mm(1") or 30mm(1.25") i want the tires to stick out, but not too far. I wish i could see them on the car before i make up my mind. pics or suggestions? thanks alot

The spacers really aren't a good idea. A different offset wheel, or a bigger tire is your best bet.

This isn't really a detailing question. So, I'm going to move it over to general tech.

i have 1" spacers coming in the mail tomorrow. eibach hub centric. i'll get some pics when i get them on. i figured it was worth a try. if i don't really care for them then i'll have to check into some 10.5" wheels. i think they'll work fine though.

Default RE: buying spacers

I was thinking about getting spacers for the rear wheels too. Eventually I DO want to buy wider rims & rubber, but when I do that I want to get FOUR wide rimss & tires because I do like to rotate my tires back & front. Still then I would want my rears to stick out a bit wider than the front so, spacers to the rescue

What's the downside/problem of using spacers on the rear?

Just the regular spacers limit how much of the lug nut you can actually use. Which really freaks me out because most of those bolts and such are made in China now. Unless you got the crazy adapters that have the lugs welded to them. Which would be the route I would go if I was going to do something silly like wheel spacers...[&:]
