Why dont you just buy a camaro. I hate when people do this ****. You have a FORD, make it powered by FORD,ever here of a 460?

 

that is what i have to work with right now, way more parts availabel for that big block .

 

as long as its quick i dont care what it powed by, i love the mustang, but chevy power plants is where it is for me[:@]now i dont need you to talk all this **** , i ask for anybody with any info 2 let me know.

 

I'm not against a chevy motor in a ford. Do what you have to and just go fast. But my question is what are you going to do about headers. Your more then likely going to have to get customs which will run you well over 1500 more then likely.

 

well i know a friend of a frien that has one of these conversions so i have yet to ask him, what he did, by the way thanks for that heads up, oh yeah im a welder by trade so if anything i will make them myself .

 

the header thing isn't no way going to cost 1500...cost will be about 500....the trans shouldn't be to much to deal with but it would be a cleaner fit to make your own using a tubro 400 poly mount.....the driveshaft will have to be made..I hope your using a short shaft t-400...you want to set that heavy beast back as much as you can to help get some weight off the front
