I have a 80 coupe with a rough dash, i have 88 gt dash how hard would it be to change out the 80 coupe to the 88 gt's dash ?Is their any web sites or links i can go to?

 

its a pretty simple swap, you might want to get some door panels to go with the dash, it looks kinda wierd if you dont go ahead and do the door panel swap along with it, but its pretty much self explanitory once you pull the old one out, no real modifications, you will prob. be able to google search it, i know a couple guys that did the 94-04 dash in the 79-93 mustang and it was a piece of cake, you going to need to do a little wiring though. not to hard, just go get yourself a haines manual or something and go through the wiring diagrams that they offer and you should be able to figure it out. good luck post some pics

 

i know my 82 and 93 have holes in the upper part around the vent area and stuff in different places, would you not have to weld on the
lip just under the windshield off a 87 up to make it fit ? they look different torn down ?
also would have to change out columns and all correct ?
