Default Seat Belt Retraction

Ok so my dad has a 98 GT, clutch, exhaust, short throw, etc. and my mothe in law has the 2003 6banger

I can't stand the seat belts staying slack and not retracting. At first I thought must me some fur ***** or something in the springs under the plastic interior panel, but no it was normal looking. Has anyone been annoyed by this problem, or am I the only one this bothers, or mabey your mustangs don' have this issue.

But, if you guys know what problem I am talking about or have experienced it there has to be a company out there that makes a aftermarket recoil with a strong spring.. Or something/./..?????????

Please help.

I just bought a 2002 GT with similar, "sloppy" seat belts. I actually shut the passenger door on it today so I'm curious as well as to what is going on. My brother's 2003 vert' doesn't seem to have any issues [sm=dontgetit.gif]

I have not been in a convertible lately but lacking the pillar on a convertible I imagine the seat belt has the same retraction roller but a more direct path wihout looping thru the pillar guide and the headrest guide down to the buckel. right, i dont know??????????
