headlight removal on '91
I'm having a moisture problem in my headlights on my '91 2.4L convertible. Can anyone tell me how to go about removing them so that I can dry them out? I don't want to just go in and start trying different screws (don't want to mess up my alignment). Thanks a lot!
honestly, youre probably better off gettin brand new ones. it has a leak/hole somewhere to where water gets in. either that, or just drill holes in the bottom of it. on the bottom lip where the front meets the bottom. ive drilled like 4/5 holes in each of mine, and it pretty much remedied the problem. except for when theres a TORRENTIAL rain shower, then, im s.o.l. but other than that, it works !
Yeah, theres a crack somewhere in your headlight so it's going to keep bringin in moisture eventually yellowing it really bad.
May want to just get new headlights
But to remove the headlights isnt hard at all
There's only 3 nuts to remove
Looking at the driver side one
Theres two on the right side of it
Directly over eachother
and one in the middle ish on the left side of it(looking straight at the car)

why bother removing the whole thing when all you have to do is remove the bulb and stick the exhaust of a vacuum cleaner hose up to the hole to dry out the interior of the box. let it run a while and put some petroleum jelly around the O-ring on the bulb before you re-install it to help seal out the moisture. this is only a temporary fix, but lots easier than removing the headlight box!
