Do you mean the throttle body? It might be stuck on with sealer.. just give it a few taps & it should come off

I have a suggestion, pop the nameplate that says 5.0 HO on top of your manifold and remove the other 2 bolts you find underneath. Then I recommend not doing another thing to your Mustang until you atleast get a chiltons or haynes repair manual for it.

I was just gonna say...if you only removed 4 bolts, i think I know the problem, LoL. In all honesty though, if you didnt know there were two other bolts, then you probably should read at least a haynes or something first. Because chances are you also don't know that when you put it back on, you have to torque the bolts to a certain level.

If you're taking off the lower, it gets even uglier.

I'm guessing the upper plenum. He called it an "air intake manifold" So I assume that's what he means. And if you've never removed one before you probably wouldnt think they would have two more bolts under the manifold plate.

I understand that everyone has to start somewhere and we aren't all born knowing everything there is to know. But when it comes to something like that, it's usually a better idea to read up on it and ask any questions before you actually start doing the task.

For example, lets say he does get all 6 bolts off and doesnt crack any vacuum lines, etc. Would he know to be very careful underneath so he doesn't drop into the lower intake and down the runners?
