is standard. I owned one.
The red roof was a change.

I believe the term you're looking for is "a dime a dozen". Red interiors were the only one you could get in Fox 'verts for many years with a white exterior. As stated, the red top is aftermarket.

My 87 GT Convertible has white exterior, red interior. As stated above, I'm guessing hte red top was aftermarket, which isn't that uncommon and is relatively cheap.
