Default 351 Build combo help

Im building a 1974 351w. I put Ross 12:5 to 1 pistons, Eagle rods, stock machined crank and DSS main girdle. I need help deciding from the short block up. I want to make 550-600 N/A HP. Are the AFR 225 heads with Super Victor intack too much? Reed Cams is local and they recommended a cam for this set up with 264 duration @ .50 with a .601 lift and lobe seperation of 108.Any help is appreciated.[/align]

If I were you right now I would say "SCREW WINDSOR HEADS!!!"

You should do a Clevor heads swap, you will need a custom intake but you can find those around. There is an Ausi company that has a branch in Oregon that sells extreem Aluminum 351C4V heads that flow 330cfm outta the box and good for 680hp before needing to be modified. The website is http://www.ausfordparts.com/

Dont screw around with those other restrictive heads, get some real Nascar inspired power and get an Alloy Cleveland head.

And if your looking for awesome torque they make a 2v model and if you want a compromise they mated the 2v and 4v and call it a 3v so torque isnt compromised so much.

AWESOME PLACE - CHEAP PRICES!!!!!

Im thinkin he'd have trouble with the domes on those pistons if he was to try and bolt on those cleveland heads. As far as that heads, intake, cam combogo you'll probablymake it close to your HP goal. If it were me, I would have went with theEdelbrock Victor Jr CNC'd head.I hope this engine is for a race onlyapplicationcuz this thing would be down right ridiculous to try anddrive on the street. I would also like to add that it would have been mucheasier to reach your goal had you went with a stroker kit of some kind.
