Emblems

RE: Emblems
Heat is your friend. If you have a heat gun, it works best but a hairdryer can be used if you're patient. First heat the emblem up a bit. Then, you can do one of two things. Some people recommend running a piece of fishing line behind the emblem to separate the emblem from the body. My preferred method is to use a nylon prybar I have to pop the emblem off. Either way, there will probably be a little residue left. I use a dab of "Goof Off" on a rag to remove it. After that, you'll probably need to hit the area with a little cleaner-wax or polishing compound to clean up the area.
