Default steeda suspension packages.

I was looking on the speedworx and steeda websites, and i like the idea of the suspension packages they offer- but i just want to make sure of a few things -

first of all, do you need the stage 1 before stage 2, or 2 before 3? or are they included (like if you get 2, is 1 in there? or do you need to get 1, then upgrade to 2, etc)

also, are these Gtrac packages good ideas for a v6 convertible?

I have the Steeda Stage I and II...I wasn't really thinking at first and thought the stage II came with the Stage I stuff, which it doesn't...You will need to get the stage I and II...I love the suspension, I think if you're going to lower the car it should handle better than if it wasn't lowered...Get the package!! and to get the geometry right get the bump-steer kit along with the steeda X2 balljoints, if youre spending that much $$ its worth it.

is your car a convertible or coupe. ( with a vert id want to add subframes as well, but those arent incliuded as far as i can tell until stage 3 - but i dont know if id need stage 3...this is meant to improve handling but im not racing or anything.)

and also, i might have missed it when i was looking, but the kits come with lowering springs?

are the bumpsteer kit and X2's really important ? are the kits made to finction without them or are they really something you should have

Also, does it matter that i have a v6 (yours is GT i see)

one more question to add (sorry i know im annoying)

i was just looking at stangsuspension and for steeda stage 2&3 there is a version that sauys it fits all mustangs (99-04 or so) but the stage 1 does not mention that - does the fact that my car is a v6 vert make that a problem or can I just get the one that is for GT's of the same year...stage 1 is just springs, cc's and a STB anyway.

also, if i was to get stage 2 ( i want the shocks and control arms and stuff ) but i also want subframes, shold i just get separate sub's or the whole stage 3...

and now that i think of it, do i really the caster camber plates? does stage 1 lower the car enough for them to be necessary? cuz if not i could just get steeda springs (or eibach? wahst better ) and if i want i can get the stb.. but then just get stage 2 without paying all the moiney that stage 1 costs..

Mine is not a vert...the stage I comes with the lowering springs...neither 2 nor 3 come with the springs...I was told that to get the geometry correct I should get them...when a car is lowered, the suspension geometry is changed and the car will not hanle as well...I would reccomend it...small price compared to what you are talking about spending...might as well do it right!...I would assume that the stage I package would fit the v6 as well. as far as the caster/camber plates, I'm not sure...I don't think the stock caster/camber can adjust for the lowered ride height...It lowers about 1.5 all around (thats what Steeda says)...I would go with the Steeda Stage I package rather than trying to match your own...they have matched the springs with the shocks to optimum ride/handling....Its a pretty good deal by buying the packages...I got mine from stangsuspension.com...good people...

ok, that makes sense, but what about subframe connectors - i dont think id need stage 3 but i do want to add the subframes for stifness (thats why i asked if you had a vert or not..if you did youd understand why ) anyway the concensus is that stage 1&2 at minimum is a great package?

what about the x2's and bumpsteer you mentioned - what exacty do those things do? im not sure i understand 100% what bumpsteer is in the first palce and id rather ask tham assume...

also, silly question, but if it was lowered that much would i have issued with speedbumps and/or potholes?
i live in brooklyn and these things are common enough - also what about pulling up into a driveway?

sometimes you cant go sideways though, like theres an indoor parking lot around here that has some speed bumps that you just need to go over.

if thats the case, maybe the steeda stage1's springs are too low for me.

how low shuold i go if i wanna still not have to relly worry about things like this?
and given that, what is another good option for me as far as springs/shocks (and everything else for that matter)

Just leave your spring isolators in, I didn't...that will add about another 1/4"....

also, my car has a lower brace support that the 99+'s don't have apparently, and that's what scrapes for me.
