Default 1985 GT

I have an 85 GT that used to have an alarm. It has a 12.5 volt 3.5-4.5 amp draw all the time. It is a pulsating draw making me think a solenoid or relay is trying to activate. I've taken out everything i can find that was part of the alarm system. Any suggestions?

Default RE: 1985 GT

I would put an ampmeter in series with the battery
poswitive lead and observe the motor off current.
I would then pull each fuse and see if that fuse causes
the current to fall to near zero.
If the fuse test fails, then the alarm may be connected right to
the solenoid positive terminal. Any correct alarm
would have a barrel type fuse in the line.
