IRS conversion...

What would it take to convert a GT to a cobra Indepent rear suspension?
Would it be worth it?

i don't think it would be worth the weight penalty. the IRS weighs almost triple the live axle. you would need a new exhaust and maybe a new driveshaft. your launches would suffer but handling would be improved.
