Well, lowering springs are generally much stiffer than stock.
So yes, it will effect your launch because the weight won't transfer to the rear wheels as well

I found that I get better launches beacuse my car is lowered.I have eibach shocks, lowering springs, upper/lower control arms, sways bars. I think it helps to get better launches.

think about it. You want the rear of your car to be *somewhat* "bouncy." That way when you launch your car "sits down" and hauls.

My car is lowered and I get great launches as long as the tires are heated properly. On my stock tires and the mods you see below I got a 2.088 on my 60'. Not the greatest compared to rear work and drag radials but its a hell of a time for a lowered car on stock tires.

Well I just bought Joes 4.10s so if I have serious problems with traction then im gonna have to invest. A buddy of mine that has 4.10's says they are good on street tires but I never drove it.

They make lowering springs designed for good launches. I have the eibach drag launch kit. The car is alittle lower and launche great. Of course the 90/10 shocks in the front help that out also

Drag springs are not used with the intent to lower the car. They lower the car 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch without the isolators but it isnt enough to really notice. I was looking at a guys car that had them while my exhaust was being installed. I just assume get the upper and lower control arms and drag radials and still keep the lowering springs for good looks.
