I have a 1994 Mustang 3.8 It starts but is missing.. not bad but missing none the less.. ALSO I can't even touch the gas or it wants to bog. If I let it runa while it seems to get beter but missing still when reving it.. The ballast resistor is pretty corroded and looks like it is going to break.. could this be causing my problems ?... I did a coolant check to elimante head gasket or leaksa and it holds 15lbs all day.. ALSO the check engine light is not coming on when I start the car... Thanx for any help

 

Could be a fuel problem. If fuel is restricted
then as you request more gas you bog out.

 

If it doesnt have any power untill you get higher in the revs it could also be connected to your MAF, try disconnecting it and see if there is a difference in the way it runs. This will not hurt anything and will not sound the check engine light.

I have to agree with Corvetteguy strongly that it could also be a fuel problem and as well as a spark problem.
