Default NEED SERIES HELP...HITTING BOTTOM BADLY

ok well i have posted before and i wanted to know for sure that if i change my springs and shocks if they will stop my car from hitting bottom..it seems cheaper to buy springs that lower my car 2 inchs than it is to buy to buy replacement so i think i'm going to do that but i'm not sure...my car keeps hitting bottom and not its hitting easliy...now i want to know if i lower my car if it will change the hitting and i wanted to know if this is a good idea...do you yourself have a lowered car and if so does it hit bottom when driving on a regualr road

the shock could be worn out. Replacing them with a set of H&R springs and either Koni or Bilstein will heal your bottoming out issue. Start with that and see if that fixes the problem. And then we can go from there if this doesn't fix the problem.

ok well my dad was telling me about these rubber blocks you can put into the springs to raise the car a little for a little quick time fix which i think i'm going to do...untill i can buy both springs and shocks at the same time...will my stock...or kinda stock tires on my mustang be able to fit with a 1.75 srop in rear and 2 drop in the front...there cheaper and performance springs...also i'm getting kyb gas shocks

Just lowering your car with springs will probably make it worse. Like fastmustangs1 said, its most likely your shocks. They are worn out and need to be replaced. Get yourslef a new set of shocks (either OEM or aftermarket) and you should be OK. Then you can lower your car if you want buy installing different springs.
