Default Help. Cat is glowing! Low power.
i have a 86 302 v8. i went to go for a cruise last night. the car had started up just fine, but felt a bit rough. i drove it up the block and it backfired once it warmed up. i turned back to the house and found that my catalytic converter was smoking on the passenger side. it was glowing orange!! the cars power is way down! there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust and the plugs looked normal! what the hell happened?
