Stock 00 GT Clutch engages wayyy to high... Cable Change or Clutch itself Needs a change?...dont think i can adjust it anymore. Any Ideas?

My stock 99 gt clutch engaged fairly high too. It started to engage about 1/2 way up, but didnt full engage until the last couple of inches. My trans am does the same thing, so it sounds like its normal.

I would only be concerned if the clutch is slipping. You can check this by going just fast enough in 5th gear that you dont bog the engine, then floor it. If the rpm's and mph climb at about the same rate youre ok. If the engine seems to be revving faster and you arent gaining much speed then your clutch might be going out.
