Ok, this may sound dumb, it may not. I think it may be one of those things, that we should all know, but for some reason i dont. Is there any thing people say about guys who drive muscle cars? Like we all know about what they say about guys who drive big trucks, you know small <IMG src=smileys/smiley21.gif border="0">. But the other day, i heard somebody say "well you know aht they say about guys who drive muscle cars", and Of corse I was like "yeah", but inside I'm like "nope". So what do they say?

Why didn't you just say, "no what do they say about guys who drive muscle cars"? He probably just had some wise a$$ comment anyway, so I would not let it bother you.

I have several large calibre handguns and a 2000 GT. Everybody always asks if I am trying to make up for something until they get a ride in the Mustang to go to the shooting range. Then they realize how much fun they are and they get off my a** about it.

wei is right....hardly any of those people have ever driven a fast car...let alone ridden in one... to understand why we all like a little torque and hp in our lives, without having to hit 6K+ to do it. once they ride or drive, they are hooked. i let my buddy drive my stang once, for a guy who drives a pos 86 tercel he handled it well, he floored it, peeled out and shifted, hit 75 in 3rd and backed off. when he got out of the car, he was shaking...and kept saying i want a mustang...i want a mustang....

i drove my brother's and i know that i want a mustang after that. i assumed they were crappy from the 4.6 as opposed to the camaro's 5.7 but damn i was wrong. they still got torque despite the lower displacement.

Most of the people who talk all the smack, will be instantly hooked after taking a ride. The biggest challenge is getting them into the car. Once you do this the drug is in their blood, and they are on their way to becoming a fellow gearhead.

When I was first looking for a different car I was looking more for a IROC, Camaro, or TA....but I got bored with all the crappy ones I drove and wasted my time looking at....so one day my dad and I took a drive to Ocala ( Hour and a half away ) to look at a 5.0. I wasnt on the notion that I would buy it but the minute I hit the gas and got on it I was hooked...Not saying there was anything wrong with the other cars it was just something about the stang that cought my attention...so after an inspection under the hood and through the car about 20min after pulling up and seeing the stang I bought it. Needless to say it has been the best choice Ive made in my young life!
