Default Front spoiler

I was going to buy a front Mach 1 spoiler for my 2004 GT and wanted to know if anyone has installed one of these before and if it's something that is easy to do.

THANKS!

Yes, its very easy to do. I did it by myself but it would be much easier with a friend helping you.

oh yea, speaking of that I just got some masking tape and taped the chin spoiler where I wanted it and screwed it in that way, yea without that another helper is practically a MUST if you want it on right. Start with the back and work your way to the front also.

Very easy to do. Help from another person makes it that much easier. Start at the fenders and make it flush with the wheel wells, then work your way to the center. When it's finished the chin spoiler will sit about 1/8 - 1/4" recessed back from the front lip of the fascia (just like the Mach 1's). I believe there is 17 attachment holes. I used stainless steel bolts, washers and nylon-inserted lock nuts in 15 places. In 2 places, near the front corners where it wraps around it was very difficult to get access with a wrench so I just used the push pins that came with it. Really squares off the front end and gives it a nice finishing touch.

How many of you did it flush and how many did it recessed? Have any pics?

Well as you know I did mine recessed. You can take a look at it when I come over next weekend. I think it looks better recessed.
