Whistle???

My friend has a 89 GT and under acceleration you can hear a LOUD whistle.

He has upper and lower intake, MAS, injectors, Full exhaust, and TB.

Any ideas why it whistles?

He has a mac TB, mac 70mm MAS, edelbrock performer intake.

well with all those intake mods, most likely its the sound of air being sucked into the motor. is the air silencer been removed?

Im not sure what it is, but my stock 91 5.0 did the same thing. People thought i had something i didnt. Not cool. I only removed the intake sliencer and k&n filter. I did the same to my 4.6... no noise.

i think its b/c the tb is either too big or too small for the intake opening...i dont remember which.......i think too big.......thats why you wanna port match the intake and tb.
