NEED HELP NOW!!! PLEASE!!!
OK this is a stupid question, but i just dont know the anwser. I am going to wire up my electric fan to a switch. it will be just strait wires from the batterie to the fan. the question is do i just run a wire from the negative on the fan motor to the negative batterie terminal and the positive to the positive with the switch on the positive or how do i do it? please help!!!

Why not just find an ignition "On" hot wire and tap directly into that. That way you have a fuse in the mix too and less chance of hurting something.

I agree!!I like that switch idea with the ignition hot. Plus you won't forget and leave the fan on and kill the battery. I had a freind do that alot in his car. He also wasnt the brightest bulb either.....

What I did on my old SVO before I sold it is run the + wire staight to the fan (with a fuse of corse) and made it a ground side switch so that when I turned on the switch it grounded the fan motor. That way you will not be burning up switches by having power going to them all of the time.
