Default clutch problem, or is it?

Today I got in my car for the first time in two weeks and started it up and lwt it run for about five minutes while I checked the tires and whatnot. then i went to pull out in reverse it it seemed a little off but nothing to be worried about. As I drove to to the first level of the garage I only got into 2nd and nothing seemed wrong still. but when I pulled out onto the road I got it into 3rd and put my foot back on the gas and it seemed to lag and then it sort of jolted forward. same thing happened in 4th. It just sort of skipped around a bit then seemed to find its place. Does this sound like a clutch problem. or is it the output gears or even the driveshaft. Never had toasted a clutch before so thats why Im asking. Any assistance would be appreiciated. Im gonna need my car this weekend
Thanks

If your rpm's are high and the car is not accelerating then I would say your clutch is slipping. I would drive it a little hard, pop the hood and see if there is a burning smell coming from the bellhousing

i tried that and I didn't really smell. Is it safe to drive on cause it might be a while before I can get a new clutch.

Get someone who knows about cars, or a good local shop to drive it. Untill you know for sure I would go easy on it.

Get the car up to speed, maybe third gear or so, and slow down to a stop without releasing the clutch. If the engine bogs and dies, then the clutch assembly is fine. If the engine continues to run, then the clutch is slipping.
