Hello to everyone. I am new to this forum, I am thankful for places like this!

Here is my problem:
Sometimes I go to start my car, no spark. BUT if I pull a plug wire off and ground the plug on the shock tower, sometimes that give me spark and it will start right up. I can turn it off and it may start right away or sometimes not. once I have it running, I can drive down the road/highway no problem for hours. and sometimes I pull over and turn it off.......It won't start, No Spark. Now here is what I did, I recently gave it a tune-up plugs, wires, cap, rotor. how do you tell if anyof those Items are bad? It is such an wierd problem, any Ideas?
The motor is stock with the exception of the following:
Holley 600 CFM and an Edelbrock intake. it has a fuel pressure reg. with a steady 5lbs of fuel.[>:]

I found it, a loose butt connector and a bad ignition module.
