Default going to get tune...few ?s

I am going to get the Xcal 2 this week with three custom tunes from a reputable Mustang guy around here. I was just wondering about a few things. I am getting 87, 89, and 93 octane tunes. Can I run my 87 tune with 93 octane in the tank? Will I have any problems doing this?

You can run 93 on the 87 octane tune. However, it would be useless. Running a higher octane than needed does not increase power, and if done over prolonged periods of time could foul injectors etc due to unburned fuel. However, do NOT run 87 octane with a 93 tune, you will have detonation.

Thanks. I knew it would be useless to run the 87 tune with 93. I just wasn't sure how interchangeable everything was. I planned on filling up with 93 before heading to the shop and then loading that tune up. Anyway, I appreciate the help.
