A converter WAS NOT part of the criteria I originally layed out. I SAID gears, pullies, exhaust, K&N filter, timing adjusted and steet legal tires.
What other mods are done to that AOD that you failed to mention to us?

Well, we do have doff. engines, but from the looks of it, it'd be easier to pull the whole assembly than trying to drop the tanny.... Esp. without a lift, which most people also don't have.

It's definitely doable. Before Project Stocker as turned into a race car, it
went 13.55 with a short belt, 3.55s and [b]street radials[b]-that's stock pulleys,
stock throttle body, MAF, etc.

Nobody here is arguing that a 5.0 with radials and gears can't break high 13's stock and nobody here is arguing that a 5.0 with slicks can't break mid 13's. Also note, nobody here is denying that a bolt-on modded 5.0, whatever your childish criteria is can't hit 13's with radials or slicks. The only thing being debated here is a mild bolt-on 5.0 hitting 13's on street tires, it's going to take a cam or head work or a major diet to pick up the mph a Fox needs to get into the 13's without sticky tires & a hard launch.

THAT CAR ONLY HAD 3.55S AND A SHORT BELT... it went 13.55s... i think if they did exhaust and pullies and a cold air kit it would run a freaking bald *** H rated tires....
