I have a power seat problem, the driver's side seat goes up/down (vertical) and back great, but when you ask it to go forward (toward the steering wheel) the left side acts like it wants to but it just stops and you have to get behind the seat and push to get it to move. everything else on the seat works fine but that.

i plan on gettin light weight seats to put in there but im not sure when it'll be on a poor college kid's budget.

 

Take your seat out of the car and look at the seat tracks. You probably have some chicks panties stuck in the track. Been there Done that!

 

i had a problem sorta like yours..... first check the switch it may be shorting out...i found a seat (the complete seat, track and motor at a junk yard for $75 the seat did not match, but i could use the track....i took me about an hour and half to change it out..
