Default 02 Conv V6 Lowering Springs

My son has a 2001 Conv V6 Mustang that sits about 1.5 inches lower than my 2002 Conv V6. Same size tires. What about installing these eBay springs?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-M...17457416QQrdZ1

Also, how difficult is it to do the install?

i recommend stangsuspension.com for your lowering springs, if you want something that has been proven to be good and is relatively inexpensive get the Ford C springs here

http://stangsuspension.com/store/com...?idproduct=259

the install on the back is easy, on the front the first side is a bitch because you kind of learn how to do it, and then the other side is really easy. at least that is what I did. if you do install and have any questions please feel free to pm me because I just did this install last weekend.

often if you lower the car and have a lot of miles on your stock shocks/struts it is a good idea to upgrade them as well. a very good set at a good price can be found here, you have to take the off anyways to put the springs in.

now i haven't used the ebay springs so I don't know, but I konw a lot of people on here use the Ford C springs and love them. go over to the V6 section and you can post this same thing to see if anyone has the ebay springs.

I agree with Laser, those are great springs and those Tokico's are some of the best.

I also suggest Eibach, The Mach1 springs and Laser and I use were commisioned by Ford and are some of the best springs I have ever seen. Eibach also makes a quality product.

Do not in anyway shape or form buy that kind of crap for your car from Ebay. Really, you get what you pay for especially when it comes to springs and suspension.

I just recently put on eibach springs on my 99 conv. It was not really that hard. Like laser said the first side is a learning expierence so it takes a while but then it gets easy. I do like the ride but i really like the way it took away the gap around my tires.
