Mark VIII DOHC 32 Valve V8
MY question is: What would bolt up to this engine that would urgrade it? Would a Typhoon intake bolt right up? And if it does, would I have to change cams or anything to make it work to it's potential? Please give me some input on this. If I am going to buy this motor, I have to decide very soon. Thank you. greatguy57078@yahoo.com

No a Typhoon intake will not bolt up, that is a 2V intake. The Mark VIII is a 4V intake.
Its is basicly the same thing has a 96-98 Cobra from the same casting number block, heads, rods, pistons etc... I beleive the only difference between the two engines that cause a slight difference in performance is the intake and the computer tune, thats it.
If you replace the intake, IMRC plates, ECU and crank you will have a Cobra, basicly. The crank is a 6 bolt cast crank btw.
The heads are 96-98 Cobra B heads and I think the cams are the same .397"/.397" lift as the Cobra heads.
These engines are cheap and worth it, but people are catching on and the price of these engines are going up. Dont tell the guy your buying it from what it is
Best of luck.
