Default gears

I have a 2001 GT manual. What gears should I get considering I drive alot on the freeway? And what will happen exactly to my top speed by changing the gears? I was thinking 3.73. Or should I go with a MAM and pullies?

I go back and forth from Ga and Tx but im not too worried about highway driving. I buzz at 2400 rpms at 70mph. Thats not too bad.

get ford gears. some times you can get them on ebay for about $150 new. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33731 i was thinking of these. the guy said the reserve is $140 but i decided not to get them.

http://search.ebay.com/ford-3-73_W0Q...leZfordQ203.73 there are a few here that are brand new

install is 200-300 i believe

I really wouldnt reccommend gettin ebay gears. I did it, they work good and everything but once you hit 3rd gear they wine like hell its so annoying. so just spend the extra cash and Get Ford Motorsports
O yeah and here the install cost was i think 140 bucks.
