Default Nittos and cold weather

I'm running the nitto 555's (not R) and I'm getting **** from traction with the colder weather now. It's almost like i'm driving on bald tires, going around turns I'm getting sideways if I get on the gas at all and I just spin in a straight line even [:@] I'm almost ready to take these things off and put on my old bald *** factory tires for better traction. WTF is going on with these

The tires are fine as soon as they warm up, thats just the nature of them. They sacrafice cold traction for hot traction, its either that or get traction all the time and only get 3k miles out of them.

yeah, I'm going to get drag radials this spring when my internship money starts coming in. For the time being I guess I'll do a quick burnout every time I leave my house

I don't have a problem with my 555s on cold ground. My traction isn't great but I don't go sideays or spin badly unless I am really trying to get on it

BFG KDW's are awesome all weather tires, simply awesome. You pay for'em, but they kick ***.

in the rain they are better than factory in a straight line but around turns it can get a bit hairy. Where I was able to easily punch the gas and break traction on factory tires in a straight line it's not as easy to do with the 555's. In the rain it's a battle to keep the rear wheels under me, I don't have traction control though
