Default 01 Power/Acceleration Problems

Hi everyone. This is my first post here, andwanted to post in general to get additional feedback. Ihave an 01 V6 Mustang 3.8 106,000 miles. Just returned from a 3.5 hour trip to visit the family. After about 2 hours, I tried to pass a car at about 70 mph. My car seemingly had no power and as I accelerated, it SEEMED like the car wanted to shift into a lower gear, but instead shuddered slightly. I eventually got around the car, butthe stang was seriously lacking in power. As I continued on, each time I gave it hard gas, it would seem as if it had no power, unable to "get up and go" as my mom would say. When I finally stopped at my light in front of my apartment complex, as I accelerated there it was fighting for power. When I got into my complex lot, I came to a full stop and it was jerking, shuddering, totally beyond anything normal. was able to give it gas and get to a parking spot down the lane. I parked, put it into park and the jerking/shuddering stopped. Put it into drive and it started again. Unloaded the car, went back out and took it for a drive around the lot. Car was running normal temperture. Nothing wrong. Took it out for an hour drive that evening and it ran fine, as it did to work today. In the past 1.5 years I have had:

transmission seal leak replaced (4-07)
idle air control vavle (4-06)
coil pack (3-06)
EGR valve, EGR sensor, fuel inj flush (3-06)
tune-up (10-05)
the normal oil changes, etc.

Maybe it's because it's 90 degrees out and I was running the AC for
the whole trip? I'm not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a probablem I had with my 77 Pontiac. Turned out my gas guage was off a bit and it was fighting for gas. Were you possibly low on gas?

No I had between quarter and half tank in there. It's beyond weird. Been driving it for two days now and it hasn't done anything yet..

Oh come on people, let's try to help him out. Do you have a check engine light on? Maybe a cylinder isn't firing, but you'd have a CEL.

Edit: So there's nothing wrong now?

No, it's running like normal. No lights on at all. I would expect something to happen, but nothing does. I have even been rough on the driving, i.e. flooring it, taking off, slamming on my breaks, nothing. It's beyond bizarre.

Granted, I haven't taken it on a 4-hour trip in the past week either, in 90 degree heat, but regardless my car should not have been doing what it was doing. I think someone above said "let's help him out." How about "let's help her out?" :-D
