Default 18x10.5

Hi I did I search about wheel sizing the other day and someone posted a question and no one answered it, then question was:
"why do the bullit wheels only come in 10.5 in 17inch all the largest I've seen in the 18s in 10"
I looked around a bit and came to the same conclusion.

anyway do they make 18x10.5 or would that rub also, would 17x10.5 fit without rubbing? I want nice meaty tires in the back for the performance and the downright agressive look. I figured I keep the stock bullits in the front and get 18x10.5 (if I can) or 17x10.5 deepdish in the rear. I think the stagered pair would look nice. Well Thanks for your time.

to run a meatier tire you dont necesarily need a wider rim. you can have wider tires on the same size rim (within reason) and it just "bulges out" i have a buddy who runs 315 BFGoodrich drag radials on an 18x10 cobra rim. they bulge out but fit good and look awsome. not to mention the serious traction . i wouldnt recomend running a tire that big for a daily driver but you could easily up the size a bit and have no problems.

well it would more or less depends on how where you drive. the obvious reason is a tire that size would only be a drag radial which would have to short of a tread life for daily driving. but besides that, your cornering and high speed handling can be decreased with a huge tire like that. my firned tells me that when hes on the highway after about 60-70 he can feel a "wobble" with the 315's but those would realy only be used for a night out racing. if you dont have the power to demand a drag radial i would recomend a 275-295 rear, and if you need that traction now and then, mount those badass **********in drags to another set of rims and change them when you go out to race. a great everyday tire is the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KD and KDW (KD's are awsome for dry roads but if you do alot of rainy weather driving go with the KDW's. the dry traction is still great but they handle better in the rain.) and the g-force drag radials are one of the best drag radials ive seen. if you have anymore questions feel free to pm me and ill give you my aim screen name.

315's are gunna be spensive! But yes, you can get them in non-d/r's. I'm happy w/ 275's, although I coulda gone 255/265's and still been happy.

If he looses cornering and high speed handling with a tire that wide his car is seriously screwed up.
