i have 2 1/2 inch exhuast side pipes true duals with ford motorsport headers.... running two 4X12" magnaflow glass packs that r straight threw. im thinking about switcing to the flowmaster 40 series u think they will sound better or stick with magna????? thanks

I think the flows will sound way better.

Thats just my opinion though, its really just up to personal preference. Ive never heard a glasspack muffler that sounds nearly as good as a chambered muffler like the flows.

 

Are you wanting it louder or just a different tone?

 

probably the same but somthing with a more agressive tone

 

the magnaflows will give you a more agressive tone. we just took off my friends 40 series and did the magna side pipes sounds more agressive than the flows.

Yea a little bit of back pressure is good. And to asnwer your question... I think Flows are the best. ANYONE will tell you this is a matter of personal opinion. So mine is that Flowmasters are alot better. They may not make as much power as some other systems but what is it, like 5HP? Good sound>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;5HP. I have them on my GT and my dad has em on his 03 Cobra. Put it this way... I revved at two of my female friends and they litterally fell to the ground... litterally... in pleasure lol no joke.
